A successful entrepreneur from Virginia, Gail is loving life again after her successful lymphedema surgeries. She now enjoys wearing her favorite jeans, leggings, shorts and shoes. In 2011, Gail had ovarian cancer. After her radical hysterectomy, removal of both ovaries and radiation therapy, she developed severe stage 2 lymphedema in the right leg and stage 0 lymphedema in the left leg.
“Today I tried on these shoes. The last time I was able to fit into them was Jan. 2011. That date was when everything started. I have always periodically tried them on but unlike Cinderella they never fit. Well today…you can call me Cinderella! The right foot fit in the shoe! 6 years!” -Gail
