Surgeries: Bilateral leg LVAs
Lila lives in California and has an accomplished career in real estate. She developed stage 1 lymphedema in both legs after treatment for cervical cancer. Despite two years of conservative therapy, Lila couldn’t stand for long periods of time without significant pain and had to elevate her legs during the day. After successful LVA surgeries with Dr. Granzow, she can sit and stand for longer periods of time. She is excited that she can wear high heels again.
“Michael and I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the work that my case required – I know it was a lot. I would not be where I am today without you guys. Thank you so much. You guys are wonderful.”
“I can’t believe it’s been one whole year since my life changing LVA surgery for my legs. I had the surgery and haven’t looked back since. Thank you, Dr. Granzow for changing my life. My legs feel amazing! Cancer sucked and so did lymphedema BUT cancer is gone and my lymphedema issues have been reduced to almost none.”
After LVA surgery, swelling decreased especially in the feet along with significant reductions of symptoms, compression garment use and therapy.
