Left leg SAPLSM
Since her congenital lymphedema diagnosis at 11 years old, Tiffany struggled with constant pain and self-image issues. She lived with worsening lymphedema for 13 years prior to seeing Dr. Granzow and was very worried about injuring her leg and causing an infection. Exercise would cause swelling and pain. She could not wear high heels and had difficulty finding shoes and pants that fit properly. SAPLSM surgery has taken away the pain and tremendously improved her function and appearance.
“Prior to surgery, my leg had become so large and hard to manage. I felt scared about how quickly my Lymphedema was progressing and my inability to do anything to control it. However, right when these feelings of discouragement began to sink in, I found Dr. Granzow! For the first time, since I had been diagnosed, I finally felt a bit of hope. He calmed every single fear that I had, and I instantly knew that I was in amazing hands. Dr. Granzow is such a blessing and I thank God everyday for giving him this gift and passion to help patients suffering like I was.”
“Since my surgery, I have become happier and more confident. It was not until after my surgery, that I truly understood the mental and physical toll that Lymphedema had taken on me for the last 12-13 years. Having my surgery with Dr. Granzow, was the best decision I could have ever made. I feel as if I have regained my life, and for the first time, I am excited for the future.“
“I am almost 2 years post op, and am still in awe of how small my leg is. I never thought that this would be my reality. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Granzow for changing my life!”
