Shelly’s Story

A breast cancer survivor from California, Shelly developed advanced stage 2 lymphedema of the left arm after treatment with lumpectomy, axillary lymph node dissection, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Her lymphedema swelling made simple daily activities such as hair washing difficult and challenging. She had to wear a compression garment 24/7. After Granzow SAPLSM and VLNT surgeries with Dr. Granzow, Shelly is happy that she does not have to wear compression garment when she is out. She is now enjoying retirement, can wear normal clothing and can play golf with a compression garment.
